Arval Mason, age 75 of Bodcaw, Arkansas, passed away Thursday May 25, 2023, in Hope, Arkansas.

Mason was born November 7, 1947 to Vester Mason and Perna Taylor Mason in Waldo, Arkansas. Arval retired from Firestone and was a member of White's Chapel Baptist Church.

Mason is preceded by his parents, Vester and Perna Mason and daughter, Kristie Lynette Mason.

Mason is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gail Mason; son, Samuel Mason of Bodcaw; daughter, Kimberley Hernandez (Lupe) of Bodcaw; brothers, Tim Mason (Joyce) of Bodcaw and Wayne Mason (Kelly) of Little Rock; sister, Susan Teague (Gary) of Camden; 3 grandchildren, Drake Mason, Corbin Mason, Christopher Hernandez; and many other family and friends.

Visitation is scheduled 5:00-7:00pm Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Bodcaw #2 Baptist Church, with Bro.
