Austin Dale Honea, aged 85, was born October 7, 1936 to Harvel and Otis Honea in Prescott, Arkansas. Dale retired from Nevada County in 2017. He died at his home in Prescott on June 7, 2022. He was a faithful member of the Prescott Church of Christ.

He is preceded by his parents.

Survivors include: the love of his life, Audra Honea; 2 sons, Jerry Honea of South Carolina and Jim Honea of Prescott; 1 daughter, Tami Honea of Prescott. Dale was a proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren: Joshua Helmick, Lauren Howe, Aaron Helmick, Lindsey Cole, Kathryn Lavender, Jessi Thompson, Brandon Honea, and Kade Honea. He was blessed with 15 great-grandchildren: Kennidy, Karlie, and Bella Helmick, Molly Thorton, Asher Helmick, Hannah and John Howe, Adam, James, and Audrey Cole, Raiden and Eliza Thompson, Kai Lavender, Kip Tewalt, and Ian Honea; 1 sister, Lavedo Sisco; 1 brother, Jake Honea.

A memorial service is scheduled 12:00pm Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Prescott Church of Christ for family and friends.
