Barbara Jean Harvel, 52, of Hope, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 in Texarkana.

She was born July 26,1968 in Hope, AR to Elzy Carter Jr. and Betty Shephard Carter.

Barbara is preceded in death by her father, and her niece Michelle Foster.

She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Isley (Ashley) and Justin Isley (Crystal); two daughters, Melissa Carter (Cody) and Destiny Harvel; two  brothers, Jimmy Shephard and Tommy Carter; two sisters, Sue Carter and Deborah Palmer; her mother Betty Carter; as well as twelve grandchildren along with a host of other nieces, nephew, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at  Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Hope.
