Chris Hays

Chris Glasgow Hays age 47, of Hope passed away Wednesday April 12, 2023 at home.
She was born January 1,1976 in Hope, Arkansas to Claude (Butch) and Shirley Ward.
Chris was a homemaker, worked on the farm and the Flying C Trucking business.
She was preceded in death by her mother, and grandparents Rennie and Herman
McMillen.

Chris is survived by her husband, Conrad Hays of Murfreesboro, one son Clay Hays,
sister Rena England husband Kevin England, nephews Kyle and Kory England, sister
Kim Ward, Uncle Paul Ward of Hope and Aunt Donna Skutchan of Louisville, KY. As
well as many friends and extended family.

Chrissy was bigger than life despite her small stature. Her red hair and southern drawl
announced her presence and personality. Quiet and reserved are not the words to
describe her. She had lots of faith and fire in her. Chrissy was all country and was in her
element on the farm. She was exceptionally passionate about her horses.  They had
better care than herself. She loved being on the boat fishing with her family or in the
tree stand during deer season. She was always ready to grab a rod and reel.  Chrissy
had a passion for big rigs that was instilled in her from both her mother and father. She's
been many a mile as a child in those trucks. She became the brains and copilot of
Flying C Trucking, her family-owned business. She was very proud of that Kenworth.

Family was important to Chrissy. She adopted all her son's friends and whatever stray
she could find. She always talked about her "son's"  Chrissy loved her sister Rena.
Even though they were so different they had canning, horses and farms in common.
She loved those times with her either traveling the roads to horse shows or standing in
the kitchen.

Chrissy had so much passion and many opinions. She always meant well. Two things
stood out with her. One, her son Clay. He is her grandest accomplishment. Anyone that
knows Clay will say "Job well done". She glowed when she talked about him and grew
a few inches taller. Second, her love for her savior. His name is Jesus Christ. Despite all
the struggles she endured in her life, she held on to the hem of His robe and never let
go.
