Dimple Galloway Smith

Dimple Galloway Smith, age 96, of Hope, Arkansas went to heaven peacefully on March 19, 2021 to be with her Heavenly Father and loved ones.  She was born August 16, 1924 to Jim and Bess Beavers Galloway.

Dimple was preceded in death by her husband Garland Smith, her parents, her sisters Jeanette Flowers and Linda Bobo, brother Donald Galloway, sister-in-law Peggy Galloway, granddaughter Tracy Tullis, and son-in-law Troy Hollis.

Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy Hollis, Regina & Larry Tullis of Hope, Shirley & Paul Sheets of Benton; grandchildren Devin, Tammy, Becky, Amanda, James, Brandon, and Amy; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great- great grandchildren; brothers-in-law Wayne Flowers and J.C. Bobo; sister-in-law Gerry Galloway; a number of special nieces and nephews.

Dimple was a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Hope, Arkansas and had many special friends over the years. She was a talented seamstress, and her legacy lives on in the many unique quilts she made along with her special recipes.

Graveside services will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery on Sunday March 21, 2021 at 2:00pm with Bro. Paul Sheets officiating, under the direction of Herndon Fuqua Funeral Home of Hope.  No visitation is planned. The family asks that the COVID-19 guidelines are followed.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all the health care providers and employees of Hope Haven and Heather Manor over the years.
