Jayson Konnor Tinsley was born December 8, 2000, in Arkadelphia, AR to father Jay Tinsley and mother Alicia McLelland-Wilson. He was a son, grandson, brother, uncle, and a friend to so many. Jayson Konnor was a kind, faithful, loving soul who loved to make others laugh. His big heart, bright smile, and gorgeous blue eyes would light up any room he entered. Jayson Konnor’s infectious laugh and love was boundless, and it was evident in the love he poured into others.

He was both a Meme and a Mama’s boy. He was often referred to as the golden child by other family members. He was the baby brother of two sisters, who dubbed him the taller, stronger, smarter, brother they always looked out for. His older sisters loved giving him a hard time and picking on him, they gladly took credit for toughening him up to become the baby (big) brother who looked out for others. He later became the big brother to another sister and brother. Where he continued to hone his skills of becoming the best loving, and caring brother a sibling could ask for.

Jayson Konnor loved the Lord and embodied strong morals, which he stood by. He shared a group chat with his mother & older sisters of his daily devotionals. This allowed him to share the word and talk to them daily, even when he was in Fayetteville. He loved God and turned his Mama’s words back on her every chance he could get, “You need to Pray about it.”

Jayson Konnor was the perfect combination of silly and serious, but he also knew when it was time to handle business. Part of which he learned on the field as a Proud Curley Wolf.

A brotherhood he grew up with that meant the world to him. The players and coaches made such a big impact on his life at such a young age. His family loved going and watching him play the game he loved so much. Football Friday nights were never missed.

The only thing he loved more than being a Curley Wolf was getting to be a Razorback. Jayson Konnor dreamed from a young age of attending the University of Arkansas and through his hard work he did.  He became part of another brotherhood while attending UofA, Sigma Nu. He loved his brothers, and they quickly became family.  He was so thankful for the lifelong relationships he gained at UofA.

Jayson Konnor graduated from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance in May of this year. His determination and dedication to his education had finally paid off.

He told his boss at Banker’s Life in Fayetteville during his interview what drove him to succeed what motivated him most was he wanted to be so successful someday so that he could help provide the kind of life his Mama and older sisters deserved.

Jayson Konnor was the epitome of a faithful, genuine, determined, honest, strong, and loving man who will forever be a role model to others. His light will forever shine through those he loved.

We will forever miss his joyful smile, his kind eyes, his infectious laugh, and his tender heart. Jayson Konnor, we are forever grateful for our time. Though he left this world far too soon, he left this world a better place.
