Lance Barry Kidd, (56), of Springhill, Arkansas passed away on June 13, 2023 surrounded by family and friends.

Lance was a member of Old Liberty Church, Fulton, AR. He was employed by America’s Best Freight (ABF) as a truck driver for 24 years. Lance enjoyed farming, hunting, and most of all spending time with his grandkids. Lance was one of a kind and full of life. He will be missed immensely by his family and friends.

Lance is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rosa and his children, Chaley Holland (Christopher), Rustin Kidd (Brandi), and Hunter Kidd (Anna). He is also survived by his mother, Gale Adams, two sisters, Belinda Formby (Duane), Cindy Kidd, and one brother, Runt Kidd (Donna). He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Kidd, and step-father, Leon Adams.

“Papa” was beloved by his grandkids Bryson, Maci, Karter, Tenley, Holden, Jaxton, Hudson, and baby girl Kidd. He loved nothing more than attending their rodeos, sporting events, dance recitals, taking them for rides on tractors and ATVs, and spoiling them rotten. While Papa left us far too soon his legacy will live on through his grandkids.

Lance’s family will host a visitation on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. The burial will be at Anderson Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
