Mark Armstrong, 78 of Laneburg, Arkansas passed from his earthly Life April 24, 2022. Mark was born on February 20, 1944, in Prescott, Arkansas to M.D. and Mary Wren Armstrong. His entire life he was a farmer, a vocation he dearly loved. His other passion was heavy equipment and pushing dirt. His greatest love on this earth was his family. Mark was known for his quick wit, a red GMC, John Deere tractors and telling a good joke. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Mark was a long-time member of Farm Credit Services of Western Arkansas, Nevada County Farm Bureau, Arkansas Cattleman’s Association and member of New Liberty Baptist Church of Emmet, AR.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy, two daughters, Mary Beth (Kenny) of Hope, Arkansas, Amy of Laneburg, Arkansas, brothers Mack, (Louise) of Texarkana, AR, Jimmy of Little Rock, sister Nancy (David) of Little Rock, six grandchildren, Christopher and Cole Cowling of Laneburg, Ar. Landon Cross of Rosston, AR. Keaton and Drake Fincher of Hope, AR. Kaylee Ford (Kade) of Spring Hill, AR. One great-grandson Brantley Ford, two beloved dogs, Oscar and Edgar, special adopted son, Bruce Graham and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday April 26, 2022, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main; Hope, Arkansas, 71801
Funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday April 27, 2022, at Harmony Methodist Church with Bro. James Cox and Bro. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial to follow in Harmony Cemetery.
