Marrlow Keels

Marrlow Keels, affectionately known as “Milon,” was born on Monday, July 21, 1947 in Hope, Arkansas to Robert and Irene Taylor-Keels. The family relocated to Flint, Michigan in 1950 where Milon was educated in the Flint School District. After school, he enlisted and served in the United States Army.

Milon was employed by Buick, a division of General Motors in Flint, MI. He later moved back to Ozan, AR where he met Kathy Bradford. It was love at first sight. They were married in 1990 and resided in Mineral Springs, AR. He also worked for Champion Parts in Hope AR, Aero Metalcraft shear plant, and Southwest AR Landfill in Nashville, AR.

Through it all, Milon was a jokester and loved to make people laugh. His hobbies included gardening, fishing, hunting and watching sports. His favorite pastimes were spent in the “Green House” with the fellas sharing a cold beverage, joking, cooking, and just having a good time.

After 75 years on earth, Milon was called to rest on Friday, September 30, 2022 in Nashville, AR. He will be missed and remembered in our hearts forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Irene Keels; brothers, Harold Gene Keels, Robert Chester Keels, Jimmy Don Keels, and Leroy Keels.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife of 32 years, Mrs. Kathy Keels; sons, Reco (Linda) Powell of Saginaw, MI, Antione (Melissa) Keels of Kansas City, Missouri, and Ramon Keels of Flint, MI; step-daughters, Nikita (Rodney Newton) Hopkins, and Alicia (Daniel) Badger; several grandchildren; sisters, Sharon (Michael) Stone of Grand Blanc, MI, and Dorothy Thomas of Fresno, CA; brother, Tony Keels of Flint, MI; sister in laws, Sharon Hamilton and Edna Hendrix; brother in laws, Joe R. Bradford, and James B. (Norma) Bradford; mother in law, Vernell Bradford-Fletcher; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
