Mary Elizabeth Rosenbaum Guptill, 93, passed away August 29th at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Concordia MO. Mary was born in Fulton, Arkansas on December 31st, 1927 to Chester and Annie Rosenbaum. She graduated from Guernsey High School class of 1945. After graduating, Mary moved to Kansas City Missouri to live with her Uncle and Aunt Oliver and Zeffie Moss. In 1947 she began working for TWA where she would go on to have a 13 year career.
On June 11,1954 Mary married her husband James William Guptill, Jr. The two spent 50 loving years together until his death on October 23rd, 2004. On January 16th, 1961 they would have their first and only child,  Richard William Guptill.  After the birth of her son, Mary returned to work at several different jobs until her retirement in 1990 from Technology Systems. She was a member of the Greater Kansas City PBX Club where she served as their President for two years.
Mary leaves behind her son, Richard William Guptill and wife Cindy, her grandson Matthew William Guptill, two-step grandchildren, Jeff Vorwark and wife Christy, Brandi Welborn and husband Brian, seven step-great grandchildren, three step-great, great grandchildren, one brother George Rosenbaum and one sister Evelyn Rosenbaum Ross, both of Hope Arkansas

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home in Kansas City, Mo. A funeral will follow at 2:00 PM – 3:00PM at Floral Hills Cemetery.
