Mary Helen Hollis, age 90, of Hope passed away Monday, March 28, 2022. She was born July 9, 1931 in Patmos, AR to Barney and Donie Powell. She was a long-time member of Unity Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Donie Powell; husband, Cannon Hollis; brother, Raymon Powell; grandson, Bradley Hollis; and a great-granddaughter, Blakeli Hollis.

She is survived by her son, Randy Hollis (Sherri); grandchildren, Allison Bathula (Matt) and Brett Hollis (Karleigh); great-grandchildren, Trae Hollis and Asher Bathula; a sister, Jean Williams; brothers, Larry Powell (Bobbie) and Doyle Powell (Donna); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service is scheduled 11:00am Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Memory Gardens with Bro. Mike Puckett officiating, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
