Michael “Mike” Orvin Fielding, 68 years old, left this world and joined his heavenly home on July 6th 2021. He was born to Leslie and Bertha Fielding on October 20, 1952 in Hope, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Bertha Fielding; two sisters, Patsy Parsons and Peggy Denman.
He is survived by his loving wife Becky Walker Fielding; a daughter, Kelly Park and Griffin; two grandkids Clint and Jessi Park. He was blessed with one bonus son, Jimmy Walker and Julie and their children, Judd, Adley, Nolan, Emory and Silas. One bonus daughter, Keri Shepherd and Merritt, and granddaughter Breleigh, who was known to be his sidekick. One sister, Toppie Darden from Longview, Texas and one brother Jerry Fielding of Hope, and a host of nephews and nieces that loved their Uncle Mike.
He left this world showered with love from family and friends. He was known by most as “Fish”, a name given to him by his loving closest friends. He departed this life with the same strength and love in his heart as he lived. He lived life as if there wouldn’t be a tomorrow, and he enjoyed so many things about this world. Fishing was a passion, as well as serving his community as an officer of the law. He enjoyed the many adventures with his wife Becky. Family was very important to him, and he knew how blessed he was.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Columbia Christian School in Magnolia, AR in memory of Mike Fielding.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, July 9, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
