Norbert Orlando Lucero, Jr., 54, of Hope passed away September 28, 2021, in Hope.

Norbert was born February 22, 1967, in Pueblo, Colorado to Norbert Orlando and Mary Aneda Garcia Lucero, Sr.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and a big fan of the Raiders. He was ornery but loved by his family and friends.

Norbert was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Linda Espinoza, two brothers Ricky and Larry Buestamante.

Survivors include three brothers, Steve Lucero, Rocky Lucero (Kathy), and Robert Garcia; seven sisters, Joyce Bradford (Terry), Sharon Hayes, Peggy Cordova (Ben), Nancy Maestas, Liz Duran, Roberta Cobb, and Angela Aguilera (Jim); numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends, Jane Billings, Robbie and Jolyne Lockhart, Lorrie Otwell, and Annette Burns.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, October 11, 2021, 11:30am at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Casey Curtis and Robert Garcia officiating, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
