Patrick Edward Schoenberger

Patrick Edward Schoenberger passed away on Sunday May 1, 2022 in Hope, Arkansas. He was 41 years old and was born to Charles (Chuck) and Debbie Schoenberger on November 24, 1980 in Great Bend, Kansas.

Patrick graduated high school and later attended college at Louisiana Tech, earning a bachelor’s in elementary education in 2010. He went on to Arkansas State earning a master’s degree in special education in 2017. In 2021 he became a board certified behavior analyst. This accomplishment was very special to Patrick. He had a deep passion for children and helping them reach their fullest potential. Patrick was always reading professional books, attending online webinars, and collaborating with other behavior specialists across the country. He had big ideas, hopes and dreams for how he planned to impact the lives of children.

Patrick loved his family and spent every moment possible making memories with his son Emersyn. You could always find them in the yard playing ball, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs or at home playing board games. He and Casey were always on the go and there are hundreds of selfies to document their adventures. One of their latest trips included ax throwing and Patrick was over the moon that he finally found something he could do better than Casey. Their love story ended way too soon. Patrick was full of life and there was never a dull moment at family dinners, holiday get togethers and family pool times. He was definitely the biggest kid in the room and always the life of the party! He loved hard and lived everyday to the fullest.

Patrick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Edward and Dolly Mae Andrla and his paternal grandparents Patrick and Dorothy Schoenberger. He is survived by his wife Casey, a son Emersyn, and a step-son Camden Green, inlaws Ron and Robin Townsend, Chad and Monica Morris, Mandy Townsend and Todd Bush,
nieces Mackenzie Lafferty (Tucker) and Ella Grace Lafferty, and nephews Parker Freeman, Collin Morris, and Kingston Jones. Patrick also had two brothers, Eric Schoenberger of Salinas Kansas and Vance Schoenberger of Wichita Kansas.
