Patsy Marie White

Patsy Marie White of Hope, Arkansas passed away on December 3, 2022 in Hope, Arkansas. Patsy was born on February 27, 1944 to William “WC” Wilson and Bertie Tate Wilson.  She is preceded in death by her parents WC and Bertie Wilson, her brother, Carl Edward Wilson, her sister, Faye Welch, and her cherished granddaughter, Tasha Lynn Forman.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Daniel Wilson from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Shari Forman (Michael) from Calico Rock, Arkansas, D’Wayne Edmondson (Pam) from Hope, Arkansas, and Robert Edmondson from Lake Charles, Louisiana.  She is also survived by her siblings; brothers, GB Wilson, Charles Wilson (Lynn), Dale Wilson; and sister, Ida Callendar. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, a best friend Monique Bullock, her fur baby Little Bit Oreo, and a host of other family and friends.

Patsy, better known as “Mamaw Pat,” was a licensed beautician in her earlier years. She then became a caregiver to numerous elderly clients. She loved people and made it her mission to help anyone in need. She was an avid reader and loved to exchange books with her sister Ida. Some of her hobbies included sewing, crafting, thrift shopping, painting, solving puzzles, collecting miniature teas sets, porcelain dolls, and Indian decorations. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, fur baby, and attending services at the Church of Acts where she was a member.
