Paul Leo Foster, 69, of Sutton, AR passed away peacefully Friday, July 29, 2022 (which happened to be his mother’s birthday) in Memphis, TN. He was born June 18, 1953 in Sweetwater, TX to Barney Hamilton and Idell Combs Foster. Paul was a truck driver and mechanic most of his life. He always said he was “a jack of all trades, but a master of none.” He loved classic cars and was recently restoring a ’65 Ford Fairlane.

Paul was a loving husband to his wife, Anita, with whom he had recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. He was also the best daddy and papaw to his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Dougan Foster of Sutton; two daughters, Brandi Foster Myrick (Jerry) of McCaskill and Salina Foster Davis of Sutton; six grandchildren, Britney Myrick Martin (Will) of Nashville, AR, Alexis Davis Young (Hunter) of Dierks, Makenzie Loe of Sutton, Cliff Davis of Sutton, Jordan Myrick of McCaskill, Justin Myrick of McCaskill; one great-grandchild, Drake Young of Dierks; two brothers, John Foster (Vickie) of Sutton and Mark Foster of Hope.

If you knew Paul you most likely picture him in denim overalls. In honor of him, if you feel comfortable wearing overalls, the family invites you to do so in memory of him.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to one of Paul’s favorite charities, Arkansas Children’s Hospital or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Visitation is scheduled 6:00-8:00pm Friday, August 5, 2022 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope, AR.

Funeral Service will be held 9:00am Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Prescott Church of Christ in Prescott, AR.

Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery in Sutton, AR.
