Thomas Lynn “T-Bo” Purtle, age 72 of Nevada County left his earthly home and entered his forever home Saturday August 6, 2022. T-Bo was born on February 19, 1950, in Hope, Arkansas, to Harland and Alene Tye Purtle. He grew up in Nevada Country working hard for C and T Construction building chicken houses, scaffolding and a firefighter for a short time. He absolutely loved fishing, hunting, loading up his dogs and heading to the woods where he would turn them loose listening to them run and bark for hours hunting coyotes and fox. T-Bo is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Faye Rogers, Lura Mae Impsom Mitchell, two brothers James “Jiggs” Purtle and Johnny Purtle.
Survivors include: two sons, Bryan and Bo Purtle, three daughters, Sandy Purtle Rusher, Courtney Purtle, Brandi Purtle, three sisters, Lucille Beasley, Diann Henson, Debbie Rosenbaum, seven grandchildren, Matt Baker, Taylor Shorts, Jakobe Brown, MaKaila Brown, Brylyne Fields, Kyleigh Purtle, Zaiden Moore, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends. T-Bo was a true friend to all that knew him giving the shirt off his back to those friends in need.
Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday August, 11, 2022, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main Hope, Arkansas 71801
Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Friday August 12, 2022, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest with Bro. Casey Curtis officiating. Burial will follow Bluff Springs Cemetery Rosston.
