Remembering Ms. Troy A. Burns

Troy Ann Burns was born in Hope, Arkansas on Saturday, July 20, 1963, the daughter of the late Luther and Earnestine Burns. Troy was one of five siblings and she attended school in Hope, AR. She graduated from Hope High School with the Class of 1983. Troy also worked for Sheltered Workshop for several years serving the community.

At the age of 57, Troy departed this life on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Wadley Regional Medical Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. She will live in our hearts forever.

Troy is preceded in death by her father and mother, Luther and Earnestine Burns.

She leaves to cherish her memories: sisters, Rosie L. Burns of Hope, AR, Alfreda Gentry of Ashdown, AR, and Alleen Burns of Texarkana, TX; brother, William White of Hope, AR; special aunt, Elizabeth Nolen; special cousin, Alvis Conway; special friend, Dionne Ervin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
