FAYETTEVILLE - Today the Arkansas Razorbacks commence their preseason football practices leading into their Sept. 4 opener against the Rice Owls at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Coach Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks are NCAA mandated to open drills today in shorts and no pads and not wage their first full pads practice until next Thursday.

This first week the Razorbacks practice Friday through Tuesday and use Wednesday as their mandated off day before going full pads  next Thursday.The Razorbacks will wage full  closed to the public scrimmages on the Saturdays of July 14 and 21 followed by Sunday off days.
