Artist in Residence Program
  • Southwest Arkansas Arts Council/Arkansas Arts Council Artist in Residence Norris Chee worked with Kendrick Adams’ art classes at Hope High School recently to produce tee shirt art reflecting nature and outdoor themes. Adams’ students produced stenciled master designs which Chee painted onto a white tee shirt using airbrush artistry. A native Navajo by ancestry, Chee not only produces airbrush art but is extensively involved in acrylic on canvas works depicting Southwest Native American themes. Chee participates in the program through the SWAAC Arts In Education partnership with the Hope Public Schools– Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
