Author Stan Parris was on hand Thursday at the Hope-Hempstead Chamber of Commerce to sign copies of his new book "Just Outside of Hope." Parris, former pastor of First Baptist Church of Hope, recently published the book under Pard Publishing with his partner, Dennis Byrd. Pard Publishing, Byrd said, has plans for two or three more books, while Parris is planning another soon. "Just Outside of Hope" is available on pardpublishing.com
