HOPE - Statements mailed recently to patients of Bobcat Clinic apparently reflect a billing glitch which is being corrected, Clinic Coordinator Gretchen Carlton said.
Carlton issued a statement May 7 regarding notifications resulting from the glitch.
“Some statements show a past due balance even though this was the first statement received, while other statements show balances due prior to insurance reimbursement,” she said.
Carlton said the Bobcat Clinic medical provider CABUN is resolving the issue.
“We are working with CABUN’s billing department to get these corrected as soon as possible,” she said. “I apologize for any inconveniences this has caused.”
Carlton said the glitch involves statements which were sent to patients during the week of May 4-8.
“If you have any questions or concerns regarding your statement, please call 870-722-2733 and choose Option 2 to speak with the receptionist,” she said. “I just want everyone to know that we are working diligently to get any issues resolved as quickly as possible.”
Bobcat Clinic is a school-based health clinic operated on the Hope High School campus for Hope Public Schools students and employees.
