Breakfast with Santa a big hit with local youth
The Christmas spirit was hard to miss during the Breakfast with Santa event at the Nevada County Fairground's Potlach building this morning. The large room was overflowing with families who turned up to have breakfast, photos with Santa, play games, and donate canned goods to the Nevada County FoodShare. The Bingo and Cookie Decorating stations were especially big hits with the kiddos. But, of course, Santa was the biggest draw, and some of the eager youth just couldn't resist giving Mr. and Mrs. Claus a warm, happy hug. 

The event was hosted by the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, breakfast was donated by Holcim, and many volunteers pitched in to make the event a success. The excited smiles of the children after their visit with Santa was the proof in the Christmas pudding that demonstrates why this event is a hit year after year.
