The student body at Yerger Middle School gave the YMS Bobcat junior team a Red Ribbon Week pep rally send off for the Oct. 28 football game against the Texarkana Arkansas junior team with Mr. Henry Hale leading the rally and presenting the Spirit Stick to the Eighth Grade. Winners of the College Dorm Room Sweepstakes from the recent Hope High School College Frenzy Day were announced by HHS Counselor Delma Stewart, left, and Career Coach Kayla Jones right. Haileyu Ward won the $25 gift card and hand IonVac; Darlene Matamoras won the phone lamp; Maise McLaughlin won the microwave oven; Richard Ware won the flat screen TV; and Kearon Brown won the dorm room fridge. Stewart said 49 HHS seniors registered for the drawings.
