PRESS RELEASE LITTLE ROCK - Chris Bequette, lifelong Republican not a lifelong politician, issued the following statement:   In a major endorsement of his candidacy for Arkansas Lieutenant Governor, Chris Bequette is honored to announce that former Razorback Head Football Coach and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, Coach Lou Holtz, is backing Bequette’s campaign to bring DeSantis-type leadership to Arkansas that will finally implement a Republican version of State Government and unleash Liberty, Safety and Prosperity for all Arkansans.   “I’m incredibly honored to have earned the endorsement of a National Champion like Coach Holtz. He was instrumental in me being a Razorback because I wanted to play for a winner like him. As with so many players on his teams, Coach Holtz impacted my life significantly. I learned from him about caring for your teammates, personal responsibility, work ethic and a commitment to being the best you can be every day. I admire Coach Holtz’ unapologetic Christian Faith, his tremendous Conservative values and his love for America.
