Many local citizens came out this morning to attend the community coffee hosted by Farmers Bank & Trust in Prescott. Townsfolk visited with one another at their leisure while enjoying a decadent spread of sweet and savory snacks laid out across two long tables inside the bank. Fruit and sandwich trays, meatballs and cheeseballs, crackers with dips along with cookies and cakes were just a few among the variety of tidbits available. Coffee, punch and water was also served to those needing to quench their thirst.
Farmers Bank & Trust Market President, Jacob Jones was present and shared how proud he was to be a part of the the Prescott Branch "This is almost three years to the day since Farmers Bank acquired the Bank of Prescott. It has been a true blessing to be a part of the Prescott-Nevada county community. We are proud to be here to take care of our friends and neighbors."
Everyone who attended definitely had a great time and many talked about how they looked forward to this coffee each year and how Farmers Bank & Trust is known for being involved in the community. Mayor Terry Oliver spoke highly of the bank saying, "Farmers has done a great job supporting our community. The Bank of Prescott was here forever, now Farmers has stepped in and we haven't missed a beat. We are sure glad they're here in Prescott.
