Heather Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation hosted the Community Coffee at the Chamber this morning and had quite the turnout. With a fabulous spread which included chicken wings and meatballs too tempting for anyone to pass up, plus cool, sweet refreshments, participants enjoyed sampling the feast while visiting with others in the community.
Several Heather Manor Staff were in attendance, mingling with guests and replenishing the snacks. Stacey Clay, Administrator at Heather Manor, said these staff members were delighted to host today's Coffee. "We are proud to be part of the community, " Clay said. "We love serving Hope and Hope's residents, and we are glad to be included in the community activities. It's good to be out here and visit with everybody today."
Members of the community seemed just as thrilled to visit with Heather Manor staff. Citizens from various businesses and organizations attended the Coffee, as well as a few candidates for the upcoming election. (See photos below.) This morning saw another successful community event for Hope and Hempstead County.
Next week's Community Coffee will be hosted by the Lions Club at the Chamber, set to begin at 9:30am.
