Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Holds Red Ribbon Commissioning
The Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce held a red ribbon commissioning today for the installation of solar power in the lot behind the HUB.

Steve Harris, President of Economic Development, who owns two buildings in that area said, "This project has been in the works for over a year." He went on to talk about the savings going green would mean for him in the future.

Seal Solar out of North Little Rock got the job done, installing a 20KWDC and solar panels on the roof that feed two inverters, which convert to AC power.

"This system will back feed and supply green energy to offset three meters. Today, we are getting the final connection to supply AC power to the inverters," said Grant Beach, Project Manager for Seal Solar.
