The Hempstead County Republican Committee met Thursday at the Amigo Juan Annex for their December monthly meeting. During the meeting the members voted to donate $150.00 to the Boy Scouts in appreciation for them allowing the committee to have their Christmas party at the Hope Fair Park Scout Hut. The check was accepted by Scout Master Ed Flagg from HCRC Chairman, Troy Lerew Sr. The committee also voted to give the Hope Lions Club $300.00 for their Christmas Auction. The check was presented to Lion’s member Karen Smith from Troy Lerew, Sr.
