I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated items for the relief efforts in Western North Carolina. And a special thanks to David Atkin and Red River Wrecker Service for the loan of a trailer to keep donated items in until we could get them Delivered, Sheriff Donald Street of Mitchell County, North Carolina and Vern Grindstaff CEO of Compassionate Care of Western Carolina.

I am proud of Hempstead County Deputies Lupe Beccera, Marla Gullion, Inv. Jeremy Mc Bride, and Captain Justin Crane for volunteering to make the trip to aid the people of North Carolina. Please pray for a safe journey back to Hempstead County. And continue to pray for the People that was affected by the hurricane and floods in North Carolina and other states.
