Hope Tennis Takes on Scrappers
Hope- The Hope Tennis team had their work cut-out for them on Tuesday as a very good Nashville team came down and played very well. In two Singles matches for the Girls team, Monica Bobo won her match 8-0 to keep her spectacular season rolling  in the right direction and Amber Cisneros had a tough matchup as she dropped her match 2-8. Edith Dominguez and Kennedy Phillips dropped their match 2-8 to a great duo from Nashville, Edith and Kennedy have lost twice all year with both coming to this Nashville duo. I look for Edith and Kennedy to make adjustments and win their next meeting against Nashville. Priscila Moreno and Yoshigie Gonzales dropped a well-played match 4-8. Grace Trauger and Madison Phillips lost 3-6 in a tough match.

In the guys matches Charles Ford won the most hard-fought match of the day 9-7, as this match seemed to take forever, but Charles did a great job fighting until the end to secure the win. Riley Bramlett lost a tough match 2-8. In Doubles action, Erick Salazar and James Artis lost 1-8, Riley Bramlett and Charles Ford dropped their match 2-6. Ty Clayton and Davis Johnson lost a very competitive matach 4-8. The Hope Tennis squad is back in action Thursday as they head to Malvern.
