All Information Provided By The Hope Police Department

ARRESTS:

On June 30, 2021 at approximately 11:15am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Clifford Witherspoon, 58, of Hope, AR and charged him with residential burglary and served a failure to appear.  The arrest occurred in the 300 block of East Greenwood St. in Hope, AR. Witherspoon was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On July 2, 2021 at approximately 2:50pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Dejuan Fulcher, 40, of Hope, AR and charged him with battery in the 2nd degree and resisting arrest.  The arrest occurred in the 700 block of East Greenwood St. in Hope, AR. Fulcher was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On July 5, 2021 at approximately 4:28pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Amanda Hamilton, 25, of Hope, AR and charged her with aggravated assault on a family member and served failure to appear warrant.  The arrest occurred in the 700 block of Harris St. in Hope, AR. Hamilton was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On July 6, 2021 at approximately 1:48am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Mario Courtney, 32, of Hope, AR and charged him with aggravated assault on family member.  The arrest occurred in the 400 block of East 3rd St. in Hope, AR. Courtney was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

Sedrick White, 38, of Hope, AR
Mr. White was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 3rd degree.

11:15am in the 300 block of E. Greenwood

Mr. Witherspoon was arrested and charged with residential burglary and served a failure to appear warrant.

Friday, July 2, 2021
2:50pm in the 700 block of E. Greenwood

Mr. Fulcher was arrested and charged with battery in the 2nd degree and resisting arrest.

10:04pm in the 600 block of Pond St.
Joe Maxwell, 68, of Hope, AR
Mr. Maxwell was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

Daviunta Purifoy, 19, of Hope, AR
Mr. Purifoy was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 3rd degree and false imprisonment in the 2nd degree.

Ms. Hamilton was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on a family member and served a failure to appear warrant.
