On September 28, 2020, at approximately 10:00pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Andrea Ruiz, 38, of Hope, AR and charged her with aggravated assault on a family member. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of S. Washington St. in Hope, AR. Ruiz was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On September 28, 2020, at approximately 9:43am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Willie Munn, 64, of Hope, AR and charged him residential burglary, criminal mischief in the 1st degree and served him a failure to appear warrant. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of E. Avenue A in Hope, AR. Munn was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On October 1, 2020, at approximately 6:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Anthony Brown, 18, of Hope, AR and charged him with unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, aggravated assault, battery in the 1st degree, and criminal mischief in the 1st degree. The arrest occurred in the 2100 block of N. Hazel St. in Hope, AR. Brown was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On October 2, 2020, at approximately 2:05pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Emmanuel Ballinger, 32, of Emmet, AR and charged him with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest occurred in the 1400 block of N. Hervey St. in Hope, AR. Ballinger was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On October 2, 2020, at approximately 2:05pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Daryl Thomas, 33, of Hope, AR and charged him with 2 counts delivery of methamphetamine. The arrest occurred in the 1400 block of N. Hervey St. in Hope, AR. Thomas was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On October 2, 2020, at approximately 4:00pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Kadreus Cheathom, 23, of Garland City, AR and charged him with theft of property. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of S. Washington St. in Hope, AR. Cheathom was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On October 2, 2020, at approximately 8:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Ladarrius Hicks, 19, of Mineral Springs, AR and charged him with possession of ecstasy pills and carless and prohibited driving. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of E. 19th St. in Hope, AR. Hicks was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On October 3, 2020, at approximately 9:00am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Charlton White, 49, of Hope, AR and charged him with driving on suspended license, domestic assault in the 3rd degree, possession of marijuana, terroristic threatening in the 1st degree, fleeing in vehicle, fleeing on foot, improper use of tags/tittle/registration, and served a failure to comply warrant. The arrest occurred in the 500 block of E. Hayward St. in Hope, AR. White was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

Mr. Ballinger was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Thomas was arrested and charged with 2 counts of delivery of methamphetamine.
