The Hope Public Schools Child Nutrition and Early Literacy programs hosted the weekly Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Community Coffee at The Hub on Sept. 15. Healthy snack goodie bags were provided by Child Nutrition Director Deanna Gilbert, along with exhibits about the district’s food services and nutrition programs and a “reading pledge” drive was conducted for parents by HPS School Improvement Specialist Carla Narlesky.
