Hope Civitans will also be accepting non-perishable food donations for 'Scare Away Hunger!' with donations going to the Hope In Action food bank. Dry pet food will also be accepted for donation to Hope for Paws/Hempstead County Animal Shelter. Preferred pet foods are Purina Puppy Chow and Purina food for adult dogs.

Everyone is invited to join the Hope Civitan Club and Atwoods to enjoy a hot dog and a drink and to help 'Scare Away Hunger!' The Civitan Club appreciates the opportunity given by Atwoods to their organization and to other local organizations to raise funds and have fun in the Atwoods parking lot.
