FAYETTEVILLE - For the second time this baseball season, Arkansas senior reliever Kevin Kopps is the SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week.

The SEC Office announced Kopps’ honor Monday in Birmingham, Ala.

Kopps logged both victories when the nationally No. 1 SEC Overall/West leading Razorbacks won 2 of 3 from the nationally No. 4 SEC East leading Tennessee Volunteers last weekend in Knoxville, Tenn.

Totaling 6 2-3 innings for his Friday and Sunday appearances, Kopps threw a final three scoreless innings Friday night as Arkansas rallied from a 5-0 first-inning deficit to win, 8-7.

On Sunday afternoon Kopps was the winning pitcher of a 3-2 victory allowing one run over the final 3 2-3 innings.

Standing 9-0 with seven saves, Kopps has a 0.80 earned run average for 46 2-3 innings.

The Razorbacks, 39-10 overall/ 19-8 in the SEC, conclude their SEC regular season hosting the Florida Gators, Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday afternoon at Baum-Walker Stadium.
