Local Law Enforcement Recognized at Attorney General Event

On March 4th, 2022, during the afternoon hours, officers of the Hope Police Department received a report of a missing 14 year old female in Hope, AR. A diligent investigation began, utilizing all means necessary and several law enforcement agencies to locate the juvenile.

On March 6th, 2022, the juvenile female was located in Illinois, in the company of a 24 year old male, who had picked her up in Hope, AR. The juvenile was returned safely to her parents.

On Tuesday, July 18th, 2023, several local officers were recognized for their actions as they relate to this case at the 12th Annual Missing Persons Conference, hosted by Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin.

Recognized in photo were Sergeant Corwin Battle, Colleen Nick (Morgan Nick Foundation), Lt. Jimmy Courtney and Det. Eric Green.

Also recognized were Captain Brady Gore (ASP), Special Agent Adam Pinner (ASP), Sgt. Todd Lauterbach, Det. Casey Singleton, Sgt. Daniel Oller, Officer Brock Haley, Officer Matthew Whitney, Officer Luke Sorensen, Officer Byanca Velazquez and Communications Operator Victoria Pierro.
