Hope, Ark. The Southwest Arkansas Arts Council announces a new gallery show of pictures by Photographer, Ann Gaskin. Gaskin, a native of East Texas, has traveled across the country taking pictures at every chance. Riding beside her husband, Gaskin utilized the couple’s transport business and nationwide travel to create the perfect opportunities to capture remarkable shots of wildlife along their routes. Many of those occasions have resulted in award winning shots being added to Gaskin’s portfolio.Â
SWAAC invites the community to attend a reception for Gaskin on June 8th, 5:30pm – 7pm at the Art Station, 200 East Division Street, Hope. As an added opportunity, Gaskin will be on hand for a Meet the Artist on Friday, June 9th, 10am – 3pm, to talk with the public about her process and photos.
