Nelda Chavez, a senior at Prescott High School was selected to attend the 2022 Ouachita Baptist University Educational Talent Search Summer Component in Atlanta, Georgia. 

This is an all-expense-paid week-long trip that allows students to network and experience the cultural and historical sites of Atlanta.  Nelda was selected as one of twenty students from twelve schools.

To be selected, students had to submit an application, be recommended by a teacher, attend weekly tutoring sessions and, most important, write an essay as a letter to their younger self.
