Prescott Jingles and Mingles for Local Businesses

Christmas came early to Prescott last night during the Jingle & Mingle that took place all over town. Many locals were seen laughing and chatting while they got a little bit of early holiday shopping completed at the multiple vendors and businesses participating in the event. Earlier in the evening at the Nevada County Quorum Court Meeting, Chamber Director Jamie Hillery explained that the purpose of Jingle & Mingle was to give people in the community a chance to stay local when checking off that Christmas list while simultaneously supporting local establishments.

With an array of products to choose from such as crafts, clothes, jewelry, decor, and much more, the Jingle was easy for shoppers to find. The vendors seemed to enjoy the Mingle part of the night as much as the shoppers did. Angela Hopkins had a jewelry booth at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. "I love coming out and visiting while people are looking at my jewelry," Hopkins said. Rhonda Hillery, also a vendor at Nevada County Fairgrounds, had MojiLife products and home decor. "I've been participating in Jingle and Mingle for three years now and I always enjoy it." Hillery said.

Ro-Ro's She Shed and A Venue for You also had vendors present, but with a little something extra: tasty treats! Shoppers could snack and shop at the same time. Many of the participating businesses also offered sweet treats, giving the entire experience a little more holiday cheer.

Jingle & Mingle was just the beginning of a fun-filled holiday season full of events. Stay tuned to SWARK.Today for continuing coverage on these holiday happenings.
