Rainbow of Challenges (ROC) Receives Multiple Grants to Provide Support to Individuals

For Immediate Release

June 2, 2020

Hope, AR – ROC was recently awarded grants from different foundations to provide support and assistance to their individuals.

The Entergy Charitable Foundation granted ROC with $1,000 in funding to purchase project materials for the adults and children to use in their programs.

Additional funding was received to provide supports for clients, programs and staff in the wake of COVID-19. The Delta Dental Foundation of Arkansas awarded ROC with $5,000, the Arkansas Community Foundation granted $20,000 and ROC was approved for the Arkansas Department of Commerce’s Arkansas Ready for Business grant program. Each of these will ensure ROC has response supplies to maintain the safety of staff and clients.

Jennifer Block, VP of Innovation and Development, states “we are truly amazed and grateful for each foundation’s support of our program, staff and individuals. Nothing matters more to us than keeping our people safe in these uncertain times. And doing so got a bit easier with these awards. We want to thank each foundation, Entergy, Delta Dental, Arkansas Community Foundation and the Arkansas Department of Commerce for standing with us as we support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities”.

Rainbow of Challenges, Inc. oversees an inclusive span of services for individuals who have developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in Southwest Arkansas. ROC maximizes a unique team approach to provide ethical and safe support in accomplishing our mission of “discovering opportunities that inspire lives”.
