Pictured are the smiling faces during the recent celebration with Governor Sarah Sanders recognizing Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month at the State Capitol in Little Rock.
The entourage from ROC included clients Nathan and Tishara plus staffers Dorene Mosier and Michelle Witherspoon.
Also joining the group was State Representative Danny Watson from Hope who escorted the group around the massive State building.
During Sanders' recent visit to Hope she toured much of the ROC Enterprises, where she and Tishara made a fast friendship. The most recent photo opportunity was a golden opportunity for Tishara to once again reunite with the Governor.
Each March, the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities partners with other organizations to raise awareness and combine those with disabilities and without to form solid and inclusive communities. The campaign seeks inclusion for all with developmental disabilities in all facets of life and awareness of the barriers that many still face.
Many in the area support and celebrate this month with everyone at ROC/PNC as we lift up all those with Developmental Disabilities.
