Says, ‘I am proud of these students for their effort to learn the value of helping our fellow Arkansans’
LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge this week welcomed ten students from across the State to participate in the Attorney General’s Office Annual Summer Internship program. The opportunity to provide a variety of experience for students and future leaders in a fast-paced work environment.
“As future leaders of our great state an internship in a constitutional office is critical for students to gain unique, first-hand experiences in public service,” said Attorney General Rutledge. “I am proud of these students for their effort to learn the value of helping our fellow Arkansans early in their young lives because this is how we make a stronger, better Arkansas.”
Rutledge is proud to welcome the following students into the Office:
Via Bruffett is a junior at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville, where she is a marketing major with a minor in economics. She is from Little Rock and a graduate of Pulaski Academy. Via is interning in the Public Affairs Department.
Hunter Conetta is a junior at Tulane University, where he is a political science major. He is from Bedford, New York and a graduate of St. Luke’s High School. Hunter is interning in the Solicitor General’s Department.
Brooke DeSalvo is a sophomore at the University of Central Arkansas, where she is a political science major. She is from Damascus and a graduate of Bald Knob High School. Brooke is interning in the Civil Department.
Cameron Dunlap is a sophomore at the University of Central Arkansas, where he is a political science major. He is from White Hall and a graduate of White Hall High School. Cameron is interning in the Public Protection Department.
Michael Frost is a senior at the University of Central Arkansas, where he is a public administration and political science major. He is from Conway and a graduate of St. Joseph High School. Michael is interning in the Public Protection Department.
Savannah Gatewood is a senior at the University of Central Arkansas, where she is a political science and public administration major with a minor in legal studies. She is from Morrilton and is a graduate of Morrilton High School. Savannah is interning in the Public Protection Department.
Matthew Haley is a 2021 graduate of Hendrix College, where he majored in political science. He is from Prairie Grove and is a graduate of Prairie Grove High School. Matthew is interning in the Northwest Arkansas Office.
Patricio Jara is a junior at the University of Dayton [Ohio], where he is a criminal justice studies major and pre-law minor. He is from Little Rock and a graduate of Catholic High School for Boys. Patricio is interning in the Public Affairs Department.
Ozan Paydak is a sophomore at the University of California, Berkeley, where he is a political science and legal studies major. He is from Little Rock and is a graduate of Pulaski Academy. Ozan is interning in the Civil Litigation Department.
Giovana Stanford is a sophomore at the University of Central Arkansas, where she is a biology major. She is from Cabot and a graduate of Cabot High School. Giovana is interning in the Public Affairs Department.
