Summer meals program slated

HOPE – The summer meals program of the Hope Public Schools will get underway June 6.

HPS Child Nutrition Director Deanna Gilbert said meals are provided free of charge to any child under age 18 during the HPS Summer Meals Program.

The meals will be provided on two schedules for breakfast and lunch through Aug. 5, Gilbert said.

Breakfast will be served Monday through Friday from 7-8 a.m. in the Hope High School cafeteria. Lunches will be provided at three locations Monday through Friday, including the HHS cafeteria from 11 a.m. until noon; Hope Fair Park from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and Calvary Baptist Church Pavilion from 12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
