5. Keep the sun out of your home
Don't let the sun overheat your home. Close your curtains and blinds when you can when you're both away and at home. Curtains and blinds can lower the heat from the sun that goes into your home up to 45%, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.
4. Take a shower
Shower are not only good for hygiene purposes, but they can also help lower your body temperature. If you can, let your hair air dry to allow the cooling process to go on for a longer period of time. Make sure it's a cold shower, however, for maximum affect.
3. Use fans to your advatage
When outside in the sun and heat, consider purchasing a portable fan that can spray water in your face while fanning you at the same time. When at home, turn your fan facing out compared to in. This will make your room stay cooling at night and during the day.
2. Limit how much you sweat
Limiting how much you sweat can not long help you beat the heat, but make you more comfortable while outside as well. Try putting on deodorant at night because your sweat glands are more active in the morning which causes your deodorant to be less effective during the day.

Probably the most obvious tip is to drink plenty of water! Make sure you stay hydrated throughout the day!
