Starting at about 10:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday the cars will take off, competing to achieve the best times around the course. Spectators are welcome, but if you think you have a capable vehicle, you can register on the ARSCCA website for a time to compete. The rules are included on the website as well. You can get a sense of the shape of the course from this map on the ARSCCA’s facebook page.
The races are done under the auspices of the Sports Car Club of America, which allows drivers of all sorts of cars to test out their skill and their car’s performance. The organization claims over 65,000 members and says it hosts over 2,000 events all over the U.S.
