Volley Saints Celebrate Sr. Night and Beat Lafayette Co. in Straight Sets

Volley Saints Gmcs Volleyball

Hope- It was Sr. Night at GMCS for the Lady Saints, as they celebrated seniors Charity Zumwalt, Evan Chambless, Shelby Ratcliff, Mikayla Fields, and Harleigh Cox. After the ceremony, the Volley Saints were all business as they cruised to another victory in straight sets 25-7, 25-16, 25-16. Evan Chambless had a great game with 10 aces and 3 kills. Silbi Jones had 9 aces, Mikayla Fields had 5 kills, Charity Zumwalt had 4 aces and 1 kill. Gracy Martin had a good all around game with 2 kills and 2 aces, Tori Mitchell 4 aces, 1 kill, and Shelby Ratcliff had 1 ace and 3 kills. GMCS has a tournament this weekend in Hot Springs at Gospel Light.

The Jr. Saints continues to show up and collect the wins as they won in straight sets 25-9, 25-17. Blayklee Glass had 2 kills and 1 ace, Laila Santifer had 2 aces. Brailyn Almand, Lexi Crane, Cindy Ledezma, and Emily Castrejon each had 1 ace.
