Going 3-0 in pool play placed the Volley Saints in the Gold Bracket as they would start bracket play with another matchup against Columbia. GMCS would win in straight sets (25-10) (25-19). Mikayla Fields had a great game with 5 kills and 3 aces. Evan Chambless had 4 aces, Gracy Martin had 3 aces, 2 kills, and Tori Mitchell had 3 aces. GMCS would then advance to the semis against New Life Academy. The Volley Saints would win in straight sets 25-14, 25-22, 25-14. Mikayla Fields would have another great game with 5 aces and 5 kills. Gracy Martin had 6 aces and 4 kills, Charity Zumwalt had 2 kills and 1 ace. Evan Chambless had 4 kills, Tori Mitchell had 5 aces, and Baylee Pogue had 1 ace and 1 kill. With the win GMCW would advance to the Gold Bracket Championship against Westside. 

The Championship was a battle, the Volley Saints found themselves trailing 2 sets to none early on, but fought back and won the third set 25-23. Westside would win the fourth set 25-21 to win the tourney. GMCS had a great weekend and were Runner-ups in the Gold Bracket. Mikayla Fields had 8 kills in the championship along with 3 aces. Baylee Pogue and Tori Mitchell each had an ace and 1 kill. The Volley Saints have been playing extremely well as of late and they are back in action Tuesday as they travel for a rematch with Westside.
