Defensively, an even front is what HG normally runs, with matchup man to man coverage. Which should favor the Prescott offense, considering the playmakers that surround QB DeCari Prater. D'Wayne White, Michael Brownlee, Jay Monk, and Spencer Hubbard all have great speed and great hands, along with really good route-running ability. "The O-line is getting better each week and we're really excited about the direction they're trending," Coach Glass said as he spoke on the line. The rushing attack has been huge for Prescott this season, with KJ Page leading the way, along with speedster Tiquan Box the Wolves are hard to prepare for. Coming off a four rushing TD performance, the Wolves will look to build on that as well.
With Camden HG averaging 51 ppg in conference play, the Prescott defense will have a great opportunity to show just how dominate they are, as they have only allowed 8 points in two conference games. The linebacker group of Mario Brownlee, Jayden Purtle, and Cliff Davis do an excellent job of flying to the football and making tackles. The D-line has been great all year and the secondary continues to flex, as in my opinion they are the best secondary in 3A.
Prescott will try to get off to another hot start on offense this week, as the HG defense has given up a lot of points to Fouke and Smackover. This should be a good game and look for the Wolves to show up and take advantage of this great opportunity to show the conference that this conference still runs through Prescott.
Kickoff is set for 7PM in Camden Harmony Grove.
