Clydell Tullis Brooks, age 82, formerly of Hope, Arkansas passed away on May 23, 2023, at her home in Atlanta, Texas. 

Mrs. Brooks was born on August 17, 1940, in Hope, Arkansas to her parents Clyde and Juanita Hoover Tullis. She was an avid reader of Louis L’Amour books, loved sewing, and cooking. But more than anything, she loved her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Randall Tullis; and sister, Vernita Tullis Adams. 

Cyldell is survived by her daughter, Jerri Moses (Jay); three sons, James Taylor (Marlene), J.J. Taylor, Donald Brooks Jr. (Stacy); eleven grandchildren, Zac McNiel (Ashlee), Kacey Barrington (Brandon), Eric McNiel, James Taylor, Dolan Moses-Morse (Chris), Brady Moses, Trevor Moses, Carson Clydell Taylor, Meagan Weaver (Alex), Cash Moses (Jamie), Kelsey Taylor; eleven great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
